I was fortunate to have the opportunity to speak directly with Designer & Illustrator Paulina Reyes. She is a vibrant, subtly confident woman currently living in New York City. She is working as a designer for Kate Spade, and she was able to give me the inside scoop on her work for the "Design for a Living World" project. For this project, she traveled to Bolivia to design handbags made out of entirely sustainable materials with Bolivian locals.
